Meet Nest Inspector!

Hey Bin Weevils! With so many new weevils joining the Bin lately, we thought we’d do a little interview with Nest Inspector and talk to him about what he does, in case some of you haven’t met him yet.  We got some interviewing hints from Scribbles, and we included some of the questions you have asked us about Nest Inspector… Hope you like it!

Nest Inspector is a very special Bin Weevil who wanders around the Bin giving out awards for fantastic Bin Nests!  You can be sure it’s really him because his weevil name is NEST_INSPECTOR, and when you click on him a unique profile pic will pop up that looks like this:

Nest Inspector, which Bin do you go to and what time do you usually visit the Bin?

I visit all four of the Bins and I wander all over the Binscape.  I try to go to areas that are pretty busy, like the Shopping Mall or Ink’s Orange Peel.  But I also pop into other areas like Castle Gam, Bing’s Grotto…you can find me pretty much anywhere!  There is no specific time, I sometimes show up in the morning and sometimes in the afternoon.

What should someone do to get your attention if they want their nest inspected?

The best thing to do is just to invite me to your nest and be patient!  I like it when you say hello to me, of course, but don’t ask me over and over and over again to come to your nest first… I will get there as soon as I can!  I can only go to ONE nest at a time and I’m doing my very best to please everyone.  I really try to visit every nest I’m invited to, but it doesn’t always work out.

What do you get asked most often?

I always get asked “Why didn’t you go to my nest?”  So many times someone will shout at me that I have not gone to their nest, when in fact I have already been there and looked around, but they weren’t at home!  After you invite me, if you want to talk to me or if you want to hear my tips about your nest then you have to be at home when I arrive.

Do you have to have lots of rooms if you want to get an award?

Not at all!  It doesn’t matter if you have one room or eight rooms – I give lots of trophies to nests that only have one room if it looks fantastic.  The most important thing is that everything is fully decorated.  If a nest has lots of rooms but most of them are empty, I won’t be as impressed!

Where can we find more advice about winning a Bin Nest Trophy?

My Magazine is the very best place to look!  Each Friday I publish BEST NEST with some images of cool nests I saw that week and some of my useful tips for making your nest awesome.  You can find the latest issue of BEST NEST inside Weevil Post at Rigg’s Palladium.

Thanks Nest Inspector… See you in the Bin!!
